My group will be in Brighton for a few days, what are the popular excursion destinations for tours? There are very many wonderful gardens, historic houses, castles and other destinations within easy driving distance . Sussex and its neighbouring counties of Kent and Surrey have some of the most beautiful countryside in England. In my experience, the most popular trips include the following: half day to either Arundel, Alfriston village or Chichester. Full day trips to Battle/Hastings and Rye, Chichester and Portsmouth, Tunbridge Wells and Hever Castle. Your coach company can advise on entrance fees etc We're going out on an excursion, what is the advantage of having you accompany us? I'll give a commentary en route, pointing out all the interesting things and talking about the countryside or whatever I think will interest your particular group. I'll direct the driver if he's unfamiliar with the route. If there is no 'group leader' on board, someone has to accept responsibility and take charge at any attractions, restaurants etc you have booked...that's me, on your behalf. The group will get the most out of the places they see and visit. Also, visitors often have 101 questions about all sorts of facets of this country, which I'll do my best to answer. I also speak French. Can you recommend and book restaurants/coaches/pubs/visitor attractions for us? If you have booked my services as a guide, then I'm happy to help with suggestions, however I cannot make bookings on your behalf.
